us My name is Gail Davidson, I live in Carstairs Junction with my husband Neil, my 2 teenagers, Thomas and Michelle Conor my wee Jack Russell, Molly Moggie and my Maine Coons. I worked with the NHS for 20 odd years first as a nurse, then 16 years as a midwife. I gave up work in 2006 due to lack of child care, which gave me the time to concentrate on breeding my wonderful Coonies. 2006 saw the beginning of Shawcoon which quickly became my passion. I spend a lot of time with my feline family, and put a lot of effort into producing well ajusted, healthy, sociable kittens. I am proud to say all my cats are negative to the mutated gene for HCM. I am a member of The Maine Coon Cat Club of GB, The Scottish Cat Club, The North East Scotland Cat club, The Scotia Cat Club, Edinburgh and East Scotland Cat Club, West of Scotland Cat Club and The Calidonian Long and Semi long haired Cat Club. All these clubs run championship shows one a year. I am Governed by the G.C.C.F All my kittens are registered with the G.C.C.F, they go to their new homes at 13 week fully vaccinated, litter trained with a 4 generation pedigree.
